Funded by Toyota and administered by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the Toyota TAPESTRY program is the nation's largest grant competition for kindergarten through 12th grade science teachers. Since 1991, Toyota has invested more than $3.4 million to fund original and imaginative science programs involving 343 teams of teachers nationwide. Annually, 50 grants of up to $10,000 each are given to individual teachers or teams of teachers to bring innovative science programs to the classroom and community.
